It's still there. Minimal allows you to select the various voices from the other settings menu. I think in General.
Yes, in Settings->General. Be aware that there are different voice options available when using Full guidance vs. minimal guidance. There are more voices available with minimal guidance.
Ah, ok I figured it all out.
Is it just me or does it seem odd that there aren't the same settings for all the None/Minimal/Full Guidance options? I think that the voice type should be an independent option from the guidance options. Just my two cents...

It sounds to me as though the recordings are more phrases than words or phonemes. If that is true, there would be separate recordings for Minimal vs. Full.

Yes, minimal is all pre-recorded sound files, which is why the street names cannot be included.

I realized that after playing with all the english voices on the minimal side. Wish that was a little more clear...

It says it on the screen.... One has street names, the others do not.

Sorry, I meant that I wish the voice type options that appear under general were more clear, not the Full/Minimal/None.

Are you actually using the beta? Even the AppStore version doesn't show the old Full Minimal None...

Shorthand for "Including street names"/"Directions only (with themes)"/"No guidance."
