Yes, now that my phone has that option, using Waze or Google Nav( that uses multi-window) is no brainer. Sorry Waze, Love ya but I like to listen to music also over bluetooth, and with google nav I can see both on screen. Make me come back!!!

Have you guys considered a custom ROM as a solution? Many custom ROMS come with an app called "Multiwindow Control" that lets you put any app into the Multiwindow menu.
This is the set-up I usually run when I'm in my car.

Was wondering if there are any plans to support multi-window that is found on the samsung note 2 (unsure about other devices)?
Adding the function seems pretty easy if anyone is unsure on how its done a reference is

Yep I am running jedi x9 on my note 2. The last version did not allow me to multi Window waze but this version does. I multi Window waze for 2/3 of my screen and Spotify for the bottom third.
I was happy I could find a solution to my issue in the custom rom community but many people don't root and don't want to fight with roms some days. Native support for multi window would still be my first choice.

It doesn't even support 1080 resolution screens yet. Let's get that one fixed first before multi window functions eh
