Wondered if anyone else has experienced this.
Previously my device was running gingerbread 2.3.5 and instructions would be seamless (At the roundabout take the first exit.)
Since updating to ICS 4.0.4 the gaps between instructions are a lot longer. ( At the roundabout take the ..................1st............... exit)
Anyone else experience this on ICS, it was more noticeable for me because of the change, but others may not necessarily realise because its always been that way.

It's not just ICS. I have the same thing on an old FROYO (2.2.1) phone.
