Last but not the least Paranoid Android offers full screen for all the aps. In case of Waze that is 18 pixels at the top and 40 pixels at the bottom. That is between 10% to 20% more depending on your screen resolution.

You don't have to be over 50 to have trouble seeing the screen. I wish there was a solution like this for the iPhone.

Lol, if you change the title to "Waze for people driving in shaky cars" I would support getting this into Waze's configuration options. This, and colorschemes for the dialogs.

Actually, I've met them and I'd say the average age of the Waze corporate people is probably around 30. Either way, that's still nearly 10 years younger than me.
Via my iPhone 3GS.

I know I am exaggerating

That thing about not being able to focus close did not hit me until about 45. At first I thought my arms ware not long enough to read restaurant menu then I gave up and started carrying granny glasses.

I've never tried - can you run Waze on a 10" tablet mounted in your car?
Area manager, various parts of New York State ... and the "v" is for Volvo.

Yes, if it has a GPS and data source.

Don't do me any favors. You will get there. It's just a matter of time.
