Waze not on android market.

The new Android version 1.2.99.5 is released and can be downloaded from the following location.

Updates and fixes (from 1.2.99.4):

Android specific:

* Bottom bar hidden on start
* Search button handling

Common changes:

* Battery notifier: crash fixed on popup timed close
* Number of satellites
* Alerts on map listing timeout fix

i just flashed a new rom on my g1, went to grab waze off the market... no go... figured id come here and scan the qr code... still no go!

look... you want us to run your stuff, you want us to spread the news.... we put up with endless tweets about how you guys just voted for your self on such and such contest... .

heres a thought.... MAKE THE PROGRAM ACCESABLE! #1 concern to get it to the general population... put it on the market. #2 make it so you download direct from your site #3 if your to lazy to alow downloads from your own site, atleast verrify the link works!

if a company cant get something as simple as a download link to work, how does that set the expectation for the software?





on a side note, might want to make it easy to find the latest beta as well if you want input from power users etc...
im willing to help out, and have in the past, but if its inconvenient, why bother.

Well, we do try to work with the market, but to keep m.waze.com to be identical to the market as wll. It is with the 1.3.9 as far as I checked.
The other versions are the experimental versions which are on http://www.waze.com/clients/beta.apk (but right now m.waze.com is the most updated version in any case).
So there is intention to enable everyone to download the versions. We are doing our best and in case it is not working, it is unintentional.

k. i have 1.3.9.0 from the market, will test out this week.
side note, is it posable to get the beta's , when downloaded to list the version # in file name or some thing..? ie : beta.1.3.9.0.apk etc

m.waze.com has the market version and http://www.waze.com/clients/beta.apk has the 1.3.1 version.

Both of these are the same version, right? I just downloaded from the Market and it was version 1.3.1

Excactly... and please make sure m.waze.com provides the latest version of the app. For me that's the only working source for it.

I really would love to get version 1.2 for Android.. again the Market does not work for me and http://m.waze.com only provides the Beta version 1.1.9994 ..
