I should have some more time.  My schedule has been opened up.

I'm still a level 1 - no idea what I am doing - so don't expect too much too quick.

I'm working on the Echo Bay, SK area - fixing road names, puzzling out how to change which direction waze wants people to turn when you add a road .. that sort of thing

Waze and Google Directions to my cabin are a bit messed up, so I am adding the house numbers.

Is there a backlog of 'todo' items for Saskatoon?  Something I could look at and figure out what I might attempt first?

Hey thingstodo_ca

I'll send you a PM with some details.

Hi dokterew. Thanks for the detailed help with the Regina Bypass recently. Glad to see you can help to get the updates in quicker. Saskatchewan is not well serviced by map editors at the moment.

Not surprising. Waze is at its best in big cities with lots of Wazers and unfortunately lots of traffic.

There are not a lot of users out here. Most people I talk to have never even heard of Waze before.

It's true that we don't have the volumes of traffic like major metro cities but I think in time Waze will still become a much more popular driving tool.
Every month there are thousands of tickets issued by the traffic cameras we have in all of the major cities in SK. As we get more and more speed limits loaded Waze can really help people become better drivers. I know it has worked for me.
School zones are also another major issue going on out here. I look forward to the day when we can add those timed zones to the map. I actually think City Council would get on board and promote Waze when that happens.
