I would really like to know what has been fixed to the individual bug detail, as from the few drives ive done I cant see anything that has changed in a good way.

Rather broken more:
- All the 'St' in the area are now pronounced as 'Saint' not 'Street'
- I had a complete phone reset when Waze was running, unfortunately I was on a country road driving at 100k and waiting for the phone to restart, then start waze was unsafe so I couldnt send logs (plus when I did restart it, it didnt ask to send logs so I had forgotten until I started writing this)
- I thought the ghost destinations had been fixed, but both happened again yesterday (eg. I said I wanted to navigate to X, and then drove around a bit after a turn I was told 'You have reached your destination of X' in one case continuing to drive it started navigating again, the other case it assumed I was there and stopped navigation - no destination bar in ethir case however)


I would also like to resubmit the idea that a reason be included with the send logs, surely this wouldnt take a lot of effort to add and would improve the data for the bug reports by 100%, may even reduce the number of reports as people will have to enter a reason rather than assuming it does something.

I would suggest double back key to exit waze.

The connection problem of this morning has not reproduced, and neither has the permanent pop-up window.

However, there is a new problem, more in the cosmetic side. When seeing the gas stations in the map, after tapping twice on the same station, the next time they disappear. Going to list and back to the map makes them reappear.

Known issue. Was reported before.

3. facebook connection isn't established correctly (no friend appear)

On my side I have never seen friends on Waze.
When watching my dashboard on waze web site I have 3 friends coming from Facebook.
When watching friends on Waze application on my phone (Xperia P with Android 2.3) I see no friend at all !!

I tried to disconnect/reconnect to Facebook. Nothing changed. Still no friend...

What do you see when you go to "Friends" menu? Can you provide a screenshot?

Hi,

I have a bug on my Xperia P with Android 2.3 when I rotate the phone, the screen becomes black and nothing responds until I get a "force close" for Waze.

To reproduce :

• Start Waze in portrait mode
• go back to launcher setting Waze in background
• turn your phone in landscape mode
• return to waze
• You get the black screen and waze will crash soon

You can reproduce also changing from landscape to portrait.
The important part to reproduce is to change orientation while waze is in background.

This beta seems to have improved reliability for the network connection but I'm seeing the same issues that have been reported form months of betas:

Lost gps message pops up when the nearing destination audio message is played

Sorry, no gps signal popup message when trying to report gas prices

Canceling the auto route navigation to home or work doesn't always prevent the routing, in fact stopping any routing while the route is being calculated doesn't stop the routing (very annoying when trying to stop routing after deciding not to go to the initial destination)

Still can't see the icon in the notification bar

In a specific station? If so, please mention the location of the station.

Some bugs found - most already reported in previous betas

1 - In reports, "g", "q" and any char that exceeds the bottom line is cut
2 - In some menus the text in the bottom text is not fully shown (Share and My Waze)
3 - duck-male and duck-female is not translated in Portuguese (PT) version - it was correct in previous beta
4 - Every time Waze starts the logo is not correctly sized
5 - The 2nd video in the About menu is not correctly displayed

All are known issues and we are working on fixing them, yet not all fixes will be deployed in the next version. Regarding the translation issue- please refer this to Orit (orit@waze.com or translations@waze.com).
