The starting Waze screen is sometime correctly sized, sometime is expanded... I don't know on what is depends.

The waze voice should be automatically muted when we are having a conversation on our mobile while routing.

It is virtually impossible to have a phone conversation while getting lengthy TTS instructions, especially if they are close together.
A beep as an indication for the next instruction would be better, and forcing Waze into foreground again for visibility again if possible would be even better.

A setting for "Mute while phoning" would be a good feature and give choice to users.

On the iPhone I do hear the instructions on the car speakers via bluetooth, over the voice call, and much quieter than the voice so it doesn't bother me that much, but never asked the other person if the instructions were heard on the other side. I mean they should hear the speakers, but the instructions will certainly go over bluetooth to the car, not to the voice call.

It's not forbidden everywhere, not in NL, as long as it's hands-free.

A choice between speech - beep - mute would be great.

Unable to run, startup screen starts to load and then closes without any notification.
Device - HTC HD2 with 4.1.2 Android.

Where i can find startup logs, if any?

I'm not posting a new thread, as I don't want to bother the whole beta community with this upgrade. This version contains a few small UI fixes and we just want to make sure these changes didn't damage the stability.

- Bottom network error message overlapping the ETA ticker
- ETA ticker stays on the screen after cancelling automated-suggested navigation

.909 installed just fine over previous beta. No driving so far, just playing with it on sofa... So far, so good.

Works correctly. Much better than searching for little X's in corner!

After clean .909 install, all is OK (widget, closing the main & reports menu). Maybe closing the "Tip" pop up, which comes after 1st run, by clicking anywhere would be fine too

Wrong initial driving direction....

I noted this when 3.5 first came out (compared to 3.2)


Waze still starts me out in the wrong initial direction.


If I'm on the south side of an east-west street, setting the initial driving direction as east would be correct 90-95% of the time (this what 3.2 did)

(east side of north-south street sends you south, etc.......)

3.5 starts me out going west 95% of the time (and around the block)


On larger streets, starting west on the south side of an east-west street is often not even possible.........
