IOS not showing waze update

Hi all.
From version 3.5.3 with a beta version installed, IOS not show the new update of public release..
It's quite annoying and i had this problem with v. 3.5.3 and now with v. 3.5.6
Someone had the same problems?

Ive always had to uninstall the beta to install appstore version. Not entirely sure why. But I lose most of my settings in the process.

I never got any update notification from beta to official.

On the other hand I've always updated manually without removing the beta.

You can search for Waze in the AppStore and install. It will overlay.

Tapatalk made me do it.

Just done but I'm sure that until using testflight for beta versions I download final versions with an advise of the app store... Anyway it's only my curiosity.. ;-)

I have never, in over a year, seen the appstore prompt a new version of Waze when I had a beta installed, whether from TestFlight or not.

It must be something Waze is doing. We use test flight at work, and the appstore update badge works... Just not sure what it is since I know they are updating version numbers...

The issue I thought was that the beta versions do not come from the App Store so the updater doesn't see that Waze is installed and therefore doesn't prompt to update.

Tapatalk made me do it.

I don't get the App Store notification when a new version comes out, when I have this beta installed. However, when I know it's there, I just search Waze in the App Store and install it from there and it installs right over the beta. No uninstall necessary.

Via my iPhone 3GS.
