Blue in night display is hardest on AMOLED displays. That's 80% of new Android devices.

No mention of fix with TTS issues. Will test that later.

Font for minor streets and landmarks is too small. Font in wazer pop ups not readable.

For those wanting a dark scheme with colourful streets where you can tell which type is which, you can vote for Waze to add mine into the client, jsut like they did with the Map Editors scheme. They could call it Neon Dark

You have my vote.

Installed update all ok. Night colours are good and as brightness would be low not too hard on amoled especially as the screen ia dynamic and changes. What is a issue are the two buttons at the bottom. They stay fixed and the whote colpur could distract from the map. Its these buttons that burn onto my screen. New day map looks good at first glance

You need to do some reading on OLED technology. Blue channel is first one to suffer from degradation.

Seems like current night colour scheme was developed to prove superiority of iSheep devices.

2. The two bottom buttons staying white in night mode is a nightmare and distraction. Please take this into account and Amoled screens.

It is obvious that that person that developed that colour scheme has never driven at night. Not for any length of time.

Traffic pup ups, menu buttons light up entire interior of the car.

There are apps for that in "flashlight/torch" category.

This morning on my way to school I noticed Waze has started to jump around a bit on the map. (Eg, At a crossroad the GPS connection causes Waze to jump on to other sides of the intersection and vice versa. Also, driving down the expressway, Waze just completely locked up, couldn't exit it normally, and upon relaunch I didn't get any type of crash error message. It's just never done this before so it's a bit strange to me.

Haven't had a chance to test night mode yet, but i'm looking forward to that.

first impressions:

first start after install - can't define my gps position, sovled with restart

new colour scheme (for moment tested only "day") - is cute, i really like that shadow of green...
but... really "sad", black&white... the colours are really dark... probably this is good and comfortable during day with strong sunlight... but seems to turn back to black&white old tv...
another thing is that the highspeed road is black, then the cameras are also black, so it is impossible to see them in advance, they are of the same colour of road

waze mood - for now "speedy" has the same avatar as "ducky".... hope is temporary beta

for the rest let's see next days

some other thoughts:

- really annoying pop-up while driving "better route found" - "save 2 minutes"... nothing happens by tap.... can only close with delay.... how does it works?

- TOO much menu boxes in main menu after navigation destination choosed... we are really sure we need them ALL in main menu?

- sometimes when open menu i see a red wazer profile barred between sound icone and "menu" word... can't understand what does it mean... next time i will try to make a picture to explain better...

+1 to skbun as we do need better way of defining the progressions that can occur. That would be a nice adaptation in my opinion.
