Going back to v3.2.2 and then upgrading to the new beta now ...

Now I'm back on the beta after an upgrade, twitter is OK but foursquare will check in once then it no longer works without a reinstall of v3.2.2 and then an upgrade ... unless that is I restore a backed up copy of the "user" file from //Waze/Documents/

Am I the only one that these are broken for?

I have been able to check-in to 4sq repeatedly with no issues. It was a fresh install (delete+reboot) of the beta I am working with now.

The new night color scheme is better. Thanks for adjusting it.

It looks like the original night theme, but I haven't done a side-by-side.

Roads are a little brighter than the original, water is darker, and the background is the same.

Oh, and my favorites made it too.

The night color scheme is noticeably better. Earlier (prior to upgrading to today's version), I was driving after dark and I ended up in a shopping mall parking lot with a landmark and PLot roads. The roads were nearly invisible against the background.

I just installed the latest beta and looked at the same area and it's much better.

I did notice that the menu is messed up again. In the last version, they put the "Switch Off" back where it belongs (I kept hitting the Share button in the previous version). Now, instead of showing the 9 icons on the screen, it only shows 6 and there's a scroll. The Switch Off button is visible, but I don't know why this had to be changed again.

I uploaded logs this evening around 12:45AM 2012-10-13 GMT after some really bad Waze behavior. I tried to capture it in video, but that failed me. As a result, I now can't remember all that went wrong. But the big two were:

1. (Not client-related) but Waze refused to route me around a couple-mile-long 10mph traffic jam when there was clear alternate routes, mostly through residential or other collector side-streets, which I ended up taking myself.

2. Waze got into a state where it seemed to be tracking me, rerouting as needed as I didn't follow directions to get around the traffic jam, but the screen went all blue: that Waze splash screen blue. No map, no car. The next turn, menu buttons and ETA info was showing, but nothing else. I had to close Waze and restart it to get the interface back.

This was the first thing I noticed too. Sure makes it hard to use portrait when not navigating.
