Sometimes, when closing Waze, it doesn't really close. It gives a black screen, with just the two lower buttons visible. Nothing will be able to revive it, need to close the app through the android app menu. I've sent logs of this many times.

It has happened often in a session, that I get only an audible warning for a speed cam or red light cam, no popup that uses to come with it. After closing and restarting the app, typically this problem will have disappeared.

The icon did not update on the desktop (GT-P5100 orginal ICS). The lower icon had been on the desktop from before updating and the upper icon was dragged after update. I updated from non-beta. This is the first app that failed to update its icon, so it should be Waze problem.

closing Wase with quit button quit Wase at the last state. using the back button makes Wase going to standard state then close normally. it is better to use the back button when there is a pop-up because it restore the good zoom level. the quit button lost the zoom level and do not force the pop-up to close before quitting!

I'm still having problems with waze hanging when red light camera popups are open. Waze didn't recalulate when I altered my route and a popup was open last night sometimes soon after 7:00 PM EDT (23:00 GMT). I sent logs, but wasn't quick enough to do it when the popup was still open.

The new version changes at random landscape mode to portrait and stays there. Restart fixes it for some time.

Maybe you have the same problem as this one:

On my Motorola Droid X on Android 2.3.4 connected to a Motorola car dock in landscape, if I change to another app then come back to Waze, the map has changed to portrait. I haven't played with it much but so far the only way I've found to get the map back to landscape is to close and reopen waze. Big PITA for me as I frequently leave Waze momentarily to rate songs on Pandora.

I have exactly the same issue, had it also on the previous beta 117.

Maybe, but it didn't happen on 117 and I'm not touching the phone while it happens.
The phone is GT-S5660.
