Inveited for TestFlight but no app there to test

Hello,

I received the invite for test flight (i was already user there to be able so submit my beta apps to some friends testers) but there are no app showing up there at Waze beta team.

Is there no app for test at the moment or something badly configured with my account?

My account is Tiago Rodrigues.

There are no client betas at this time.

Odd that they'd add someone into the iOS beta (something that is heavily restricted by Apple) while there's no beta. Hopefully Perlin will see this and will have an answer.

I guess it's better to reorganize the beta testers some weeks before the test. Volunteers are notoriously bad ressources for just-in-time-tasks ;-)

Perlin seems to have replaced several testers in a batch, I was admitted some days ago as well. :-)

That makes sense, and it's been about 6 months since the last round of changes to the list. It seems like someone said that the list can only be updated every 6 months...it definitely is restricted and has to be done in a batch. So this may have been the only opportunity, regardless of what's actually happening with the beta versions.

I just got here so I don't know the process but for what I read in the forum, it's almost everyone by it self looking to accidentally find some bug.

Anyone with more experience here what to do some must have tests guide?

Something like a list of typical tasks that need to be tested every time and looking for miss translated strings and so on.

Also, is there any change log that help us focuses on the new version changes to test it more intensively or we work like "mad dogs" testing every single button?

Also, there should be some type of list of active testers so we can allocate tasks and talk more directly if needed.

When a new beta comes out, you'll receive an e-mail with a link to download the beta.

At that point, a thread will also be opened here to report problems with the beta. You should enable debug mode when you install the beta. That way if you have a catastrophic failure, you'll be able to send complete logs to the developers.

Use Waze the way you normally do. Discuss any problems you see in the thread here. If new features are implemented in the beta release (you'll be notified of that in the forum thread), try them out. If you're really adventurous, try sequences of commands to Waze that nobody would ever do in real life...TRY to make it come up with an error. Then report your findings here.

That's about it.

What's the bug? Lack of the "Go" and "Routes" buttons? Does the little triangle with the ! in it indicate that you had no network or GPS connection?
