What's new
New Meetup menu
History list moved to navigate screen
Send your friends "BeepBeep"
Call a friend (iOS 6 only, and only if you synced your contacts with waze)
New friend on the way popup - you'll get a notification for every friend that will start driving to the same location
RTL navigation bar in Hebrew
Pickup moved to navigation screen
Tap with two fingers to zoom out
Reorder of main menu
Added address for gas stations in update gas price screen

What's fixed
UI fixes and stability fixes

Known issues
In preview screen: More---> share location--> SMS is not working
Favorites screen - when there are no favorites, title shows "History"
"Proceed to highlighted route" appears when adding a stop from categories

The shut down bug seems to be finally fixed! Yaaaaay!!!!

Crashed on the first time untried to open after install, but was fine on the second try.

Also noticed this in the TOS, which I'm pretty sure is different than before. Someone mentioned this in the forums recently.

2. YOUR USE OF THIS REAL TIME ROUTE GUIDANCE APPLICATION IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. LOCATION DATA MAY NOT BE ACCURATE

3. Always pay your full attention to the road and abide with all transportation laws and regulations. Sending traffic updates and text messages to the Service while you drive, is strictly prohibited.

This may have been there before, but I don't recall ever having to check an "I agree" box before. Maybe I'm just not remembering.

Also, we have road goodies, probably not related to the beta.

Hitting the "target" button now seems to also zoom you in, rather than just centering the map on you.

(I had created my own thread on this because I thought Perlin was slacking off, but it seems Tapatalk can't see newly created sticky topics).

Two more things that are new (forgot to mention them in the email):
- Gas stations are added to the main menu ("Gas" button)
- New zero-speed popup: friends that are now online

Are these still being posted with Test Flight? If so, could someone tell me how to sign up with test flight again? Switching phones, I've lost the icon/shortcut.

Change the navigate menu back to how it was. If I want to pick something from my history I will hit history. Who on earth thought it made sense to get rid of the old view?! Ridiculous.

I think this is great, we've lost Help and share (which are deeper in the menus) and have a Fuel button, however, two points here:
1. The Gas (or Fuel) logo shows a $ sign, great for those countries that use dollars but we have pounds (£).
2. The landscape screen how only shows 6 buttons whereas before it had 8.

There was no mention of if the speed camera units bug, has it been fixed in this release?

Can't wait to try it on the road. I've done 1000 miles this week but expect to do close to zero in the next week.

Small annoyance: on iPhone5, the splash screen does the image replacement and it is the stretched version again, just like what happened with the previous release.

I haven't tested anything else yet.

Switch-off bug is not fixed. iPhone5/iOS 6.0.2. When you shut down Waze, and turn off the phone before it shuts down, it is still running in the foreground on unlocking the phone. When you shut Waze down again, this time not powering off the phone, Waze restarts automatically.

Debug logs uploaded 2012-12-24 at 8:30 and 8:35PM GMT.

Client hangs for a handful of seconds very often, sometimes at the moment of user interaction, such as trying to enter the main menu or make a user report. Screen freezes and nothing updates, frozen at the map location of the time of the freeze, and then after a handful of seconds has passed it suddenly snaps back to the current location and begins updating your view again.
