It looks like that's because in landscape the navbar is smaller than in portrait.
iOS and Tapatalk have conspired to screw up this post.

I've tried to add a stop and a couple times I haven't found where I want in the search. When I cancel out and go back to my route, the whole route is now pink like I've added a stop even though I didn't.

Not specific to the beta only. It happens in the current release too.

And in the UK we always have to reset to miles!

It looks like the freeze that had been causing the LTE failure when switching from WiFi on the iPhone 5 has been fixed!

BUG: Auto-night mode worked just fine until this version.
I read earlier that it will switch automatically to night or day mode now only if you start Waze within 30 minutes of dusk/dawn? This makes no sense to me at all. Please change it back to the way it was working fine before.

Yeah, how that ever got changed to behave that way is a head-scratcher.

BUG: Selecting a stop point which fails to get a route causes the original route to be removed.
I had a route planned. I wanted to find a local gas station in an unfamiliar area. I got the list from the Add a Stop Categories and tapped on the station. The "Oops, could not get a route." popup appears and no there is no route planned at all. The Main Menu is back to the normal non-routing version.

BUG: The planned route color changes to pink if the Add-a-Stop function is canceled. (This is a previous bug which has not been fixed yet.)
Be navigating and go into Add a Stop. Go into a category like Gas Stations. Decide not to add a stop by tapping back until you are back to the map view. The purple navigation line is now pink even though no stop is planned.

BUG: Selecting an Add-a-Stop destination which has "Calculating time off route..." will cause routing to fail and cancel the current planned route.
