Android beta 3.5.1.905/9 feedback thread

The app kept crashing out every time, right after the initial splash screen, until I cleared cache and data and re-set up everything.

First thing I noticed was that the reports button said there were 32 reports, but every line in the reports list was at zero.

The on-screen menus need to scale with device size - they look really small and sad on my 10" Xoom.

After clean installation all is OK:
- settings restored
- categories results (tested GS & Parking) disappear from map after tapping on one of them
- widget is distorted as posted here before
- rotation in general is ok. Just the size of the left & right menu windows is different in landscape mode.

Maybe minor thing:

when I was testing the "beep beep" function with another phone of same type that I have (same current beta waze), but different accounts, I found out that it takes approx. 1 minute from "submitting" the beep beep till displaying & playing sound on the other phone. It is the same with private message (where the time to display actually is not that important to be short), so am not really sure whether it is a bug, but I think the time could be shorter (few seconds) for the "beep beep".

But when I tried to "beep-beep back" using the button on the initial display notification, it did not work. So this could be a bug .

I disagree. Most Dutch people would know the meaning of ETA and appreciate the English language for having come up with such a short and handy abbreviation.

well that's nice but waze has also local translations and people who don't speak English use them. They won't know what's ETA either - unless they use logic and see it is estimated time of arrival. Funny example: ETA e.g. used to be a brand of electronics, or still even is over here - not sure

Today I've once got a request to follow the route for more than 900 000 km. Crash afterwards.

900k km?? That's distance from Sun to Mars Is waze prepairing for space navigation?
Because of the private space flights that are coming?

I just have had "Rate us on play store" screen. I'm using same installation of beta for many days now and this is 1st time it was displayed. Also this beta was installed over previous one, not the clean install. 25 logs sent at 10:40 UTC+1

+1 ...I just experienced this 3 minutes ago. Logs sent immediately but mine was a clean install.

After clean .909 install, all is OK (widget, closing the main & reports menu). Maybe closing the "Tip" pop up, which comes after 1st run, by clicking anywhere would be fine too

Installed and lauched. -1 Wazers close to you. Menu needs scrolling to see everything but report is fine now.

Also. Might be offtopic but it would be good to have a report feauter for harassments on the chat feature from the client. I bet that kind off message scares that girl from using waze.

Translate and censored its translated to "sofia would you f**k with me ok, be my girlfriend and have s*x I have no girlfriend" if he would have used correct Swedish... Duh, what an asshole.
