Can't Install Beta Version iOS 6.1

Hi everybory

Since I upgraded to iOS 6.0.1 I'm without jailbrake so without the beta version too.

Yesterday I did JB with evasi0n running iOS 6.1 but still can't install the Waze beta version.

The error shown is the same before the jailbrake.

Apologies, I misread. Thought you said you were no longer jailbroken.

Previously you had to use Installatious in order to put the Waze Beta client on. I've jailbroken my iPhone 5 as well and am not sure how to get the beta client on now that installious is gone.

Anyone have suggestions?

I'm also curious on how to run the beta client on a jailbroken device. My question is legit, but don't answer if it shouldn't be answered

I have an official access to the beta programme on my old iPhone 4, but recently got a new iPhone 5, so I can either run both devices at the same time with different accounts, or try the new jailbreak stuff for the iphone 5 and try to run the beta there, but unless I know it's possible and easy and won't break anything, I'll probably won't even jailbreak my device.

How do (did) you do it?

Install AppSync with cydia (additional repo, Google can help)

I installed appsync in Cydia and after Waze Beta with iFunbox.

Weird thing. Couldn't find AppSync (the official site closed, and didn't trust other sites). Installed AppCake. Then found out iFunbox, but had no need to use it. Just clicked on the link from the beta email and it just installed. No idea if it worked just with the jailbreak, or because of AppCake installed, but again didn't even use iFunBox or used AppCake to install anything.

Will try the beta properly now going home. Thanks !

You should only need appsync etc when syncing with iTunes or else non-authorised apps will be removed from your device
