What's new
- 3 options for activating voice commands:
* 3 fingers tap
* 3 fingers or wave once
* 3 fingers or wave twice

- Road closure: you can now report about closed roads, so waze won't include them when setting up a route. You can select which roads you want to block, the reason for blocking and the duration.
* Big and exciting feature that we waited for so long. You feedback on it is super important for us and we'll appreciate your thoughts and comments.

- Integration with FB events has been disabled. This feature will be back in a future version (not 3.6)

What's fixed
- Crashes
- UI bugs

Known issues
- Road closure is currently a self-feature, meaning you can close roads only for yourself. Closing a road will have an effect only on your route and not on others.
- Pickup might not work (doesnt generate a route after getting the location back)

Installation went fine as usual. Will test more on the road tomorrow.

Installed fine but is this only on my unit? :) Also map data is still in something for me, not understandable.

Tested out the closure feature and its a bit confusing selecting which road is closed. Also told it that the reason for a closure was a hazard and it set it up as construction. Didn't give me an option for accident or other hazard types.

1. bug There is a bit of graphical bug on android when you try to close road - screen goes black and then only after a few redraws shows map and roads to close.

2. bug Also if you select to add road closure Later and then try to close road by clicking icon on the left - it will not show you next screen with closure type - you will have to wait (~6 sec) until Closure Icon appears again in left side, tap it again and only then Next screen with Closure type will show.

Confirmed to be Android version and device independent

3. bug Also sometimes closure selection arrows overlap (junction road goes almost near main road) so close to each other that I cannot select second arrow even with Maximum Zoom

4. bug If I select Hazard as reason for road's closure - Closure icon on map it still says Construction!

Did not encounter same problem, maybe you had connection issues while Map Tiles where refreshing?

Wow! This closure feature could really get powerful. I'd like to point out that if the closure feature can be VERY slightly modified, it may be able to be used to create the 'Reroute me' feature, especially if there's a distinction between 'rerouting for just a user' and 'rerouting for everyone'.

As it is now, if I'm on a road, and select the road that's currently next on my nav route as 'closed', I immediately get a route recalc, and the popup 'There's a better route! (ETA)'

'Reroute me' might mean 'At the next possible opportunity to deviate from your route on streets or higher, create a temporary user-level closure on the user's route, recalc, and resume'?

Also, question for the devs, how does the 'Duration' part work? Is there a timer on the closure, a comment on it...? - in other words, what ultimately clears the event? (As with the above, depending how implemented, this may be a first step toward 'Time based road closures and turn restrictions' with start times/recurrences in the future.

There was an identical problem with the previous thread. It was later renamed to .99.
