I have lost the sound on this version for warnings and directions. The settings indicate I should be hearing directions. I do get prompts with sound when I report using voice reporting for police,etc. This is on a Samsung Galaxy 2 Epic Touch (Sprint).

Some translations cannot be fixed due to language specifics. I already posted a topic in Localization forum, to pleed with Waze about making dynamic text sizes and bigger textboxes. Besides Android platform devices have very large and very tiny screens so dynamic sizes seems a good idea. For example I have Samsug Galaxy S, S3 and Tab 10.1 - almost everything looks great but then I get bad feedback from user with entry level phone and 2.55 inch screen, and there is noting I can do to help him.

I agree with dynamic text boxes.
It would be an excellent idea to include a sliding text feature so long street names would be correctly displayed.

The client is crashing when saying 'your nearing the destination'.
It happend twice 10 minutes ago.

Not sure if this issue has been brought up.

I stay in Singapore, and our usual hot season is long overdue (most likely due to climate change), and it's been raining almost every afternoon and evening. So when it rains, traffic will definitely build up.

I would try to avoid the major highways as much as possible, and I have been travelling the same route for the past 3 weeks. However, every time when Waze plots my route, it would always lead me tirelessly to the major highways, which is always plagued with heavy traffic jams and accidents.

I even checked the "avoid major highways" checkbox, and yet, it still decides to lead me into major highways!

So, this begs the question, does Waze really learn your most frequent routes?

Firstly, what are the segment types on Waze? Is it a "freeway" or "major highway"? Otherwise, I don't think that setting will avoid it.

I think this is due to text length of a nickname or symbol count.

I've tested it with 'thin' characters (upper and lower case
i and space) and could see at least 5-6 more characters. I'll add screenshots and comments later.

I am the Android expert for Italy. Another user reported me a problem with gas prices.

When you stop near a gas station, the popup for prices appears. If you click yes, another window appears: here you cannot read any price even if it reports that they have been updated 4 days ago. And you can also see that you do not read the name of the reporter, but only numbers.

Furthermore she said me that she experienced some crashes when that window appears.

What can I explain to the user?

I confirm that. You are correct. The problem is indeed the length of the nickname.

Or perhaps you can also add it to one of the map schemes. I'm always in the editor scheme and there I would really like to see those arrows.

Actually that's a great a idea and it would be much easier to just add it to this scheme. We'll work on that.

Thanks, but you weren't on debug mode, so the logs are lacking information. I'd appreciate if you switch to debug mode and send logs if you encounter this again.
