En Route Notifications

Hello,

I been using Waze for a few weeks and really like to application, especially the ability for me to revise the map of the new road constructions. The only thing that bothers me is the notifcations that are coming from all around me when I am driving. Is there a way for me to receive only notifications that are ahead of me?

They have told us that they are working on getting the reports to be along your route, but at this point they are within the radius that you manually set, or within the distance set by your route, whichever is more.

You should only get pop ups for:
Reports on your route that are reported in the same direction that you are travelling
While sitting still (at this point cannot be turned off)
While driving, for reports in your primary group (if you have enabled that feature).

And by "in same direction you are traveling" is meant: within the event radius of your route. 5 miles is way too far for most commuting, so we've requested more granular and smaller values, as well as "on route."
