Reporting as "anonymous" instead of my username

I've just recently noticed that when I report hazards and whatnot, it's showing my username as "anonymous" sometimes.

Anyone know why this is?

I notice it has occurred when I immediately make a report within seconds of logging on.

Probably takes some time to authenticate your account when you first load the app.

Via my iPhone 3GS.

I just wanted to add something to think about. if I'm not authenticated and thus anonymous, why there is my picture?

It probably has to do with the 1 minute delay after logging on, whats why you get the message "you are added to the map after 1 minute". I would venture to say that the anonymous reporting wouldn't happen after that
