POI not found

Hi,

Last night I needed to visit a mall across a few major intersections/roads so I thought waze might help me avoid traffic. However, searching for "Panorama Mall" does not return Panorama Mall among the results. I see it in the editor/livemap/client but I can't find it in the search results. I added this mall to the map on Nov 26, 2011!

I tried the livemap and WME and still Panorama Mall is not there!

Currently the waze search does not return landmarks that we have added on the NA server. From your results looks like the same on the world server.

I've never tried searching before since I know my city like the back of my hand, but that's.. I don't know what it is.

The other two malls were returned because I've named their main parking lot roads as the mall's name. It seems that I've done a good job without knowing it.

At this time, POIs, as mentioned, are not generally returned in Waze search results. Business and POIs are not really useful in Waze for destinations and Bing and Google are to be relied on for that data. Do not expect Waze landmarks to appear in search results.

Also, parking lot roads should not, in general, be named. However, as you noted, this may be something we can open up for discussion in the editing forum.
