The Waze Status reports from yesterday include one that says there are currently 'overcharge issues' with the INTL server which is affecting editing and driving session uploads - that might explain why I paved a new housing estate yesterday afternoon but it's not shown up for editing yet (nearly 24 hours) - how long does it normally take for paving to appear?

Shirli has corrected it to 'overload issues', if it matters ;-)

For many weeks it already was just up to few hours, but since the last few days or weeks, it takes days and the drives do not show up in their driven order. But Support already promised to make it faster again.

Ta - that makes a bit more sense. I read the status messages via the RSS feed on my HTC Desire but edits don't seem to be picked up.

I'll keep an eye out for my paving - not exactly a time-critical issue, but it would be nice to see it appear within, say, 24hr.

WME is shockingly bad at the moment. If you don't get a pink screen, you wait 2 -3 minutes for the road layer to load. Do 15 or so changes, save and hope you don't get an error. If it saves okay, the cycle of pink screen or waiting begins again. I tried using Cartouche but after Papyrus, I just can't go back.

An hour of this and I just can't be bothered doing any more. Taking a break for a while.

Try paving in the middle of nowhere with a dodgy connection, never again!
