Yes, probably talking about my one on the north side of Albert Bridge in Chelsea, London. Been totally rebuilt, no errors elsewhere on route. Only special thing about the junction is that its on the Thames and hence less legal turns available. The u turn suggested is physically possible but potentially lethal.

Of course the u turn is only suggested on the map not in the instructions.

I'm kind of curious what actually happened there. In the initial post the reroute in the opposite direction occurs at the intersection with Cheyne Wk and now the live map shows the reroute two intersections further down at the exit spur from the B302. So it looks to me like the rebuild changed something, I just have no idea what.

Rather disappointing that you never heard from support.

OK not on laptop now and a bottle of Merlot down. Will look at this again in the morning.

Merlot? Is that legal there? I though that pints of beer were the national drink :o

Alcohol is the national drink, as long as it's in large quantities!

U-Turns in two way streets

Postby fvwazing » Fri Jun 22, 2012 8:37 pm

I had acase like described here. Locking all streets made the u-turn popup one block further, locking the streets there too made it happen one more crossing away. That 3rd crossing could not be helped by locking, so locking seems to have only limited weigth in this. But it helped a bit.

Is it possible there is a ghost junction there? Just thinking out loud.

If QW'ing turns anything orange that's your problem. Until all turns are fully edited at and surrounding the problem junction, there's no way to be sure what routing will do, and the only way to tell if all turns have been edited is to QW the junction.
