Turn by turn directions stopped working

My turn by turn directions stopped working. Waze still tells me about accidents, so the sound is enabled, but turn by turn is silent.
Where do I go in settings to get the turn by turn back?
I am using Waze on Samsung Galaxy S3.

Check the mute button on the main menu.

It is not muted.
The sound works, I can hear warnings about accidents and red light cameras. But turn by turn directions are not working.

The Mute button in the main menu only mutes turn-by-turn, which is why I asked, based on what you wrote about other alerts working.

In the Settings, the device volume and prompts volume are up? And Navigational guidance is set to Full or Minimal? (All these things, being related to turn directions, would be helpful to include in your original post.)

The turn by turn started working after changing Sound/Level of Guidance to "Including street names". It was set to "No guidance", that's why there was no sound. I am glad it's working, but I still don't know why it stopped working out of sudden. I am the only user of the phone, and I definitely didn't go to settings and change it to "No guidance". Something to look for if this happens again.
