GPS on new Samsung Galaxy S3 (VZW)

First off, I know this is not a Waze problem, but a problem with my phone. I just received a Samsung Galaxy S3 that is now running Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean). I have all location services enabled, but even using Google Maps navigation it shows Searching For GPS and Waze shows No GPS. I am at a loss for what could be wrong. It does seem to acquire my location but does not seem to update it often.

Any help would be appreciated.

I am having the same problem, some times Waze does not get any GPS information. Rebooting the phone usually helps (most of them) but there are some times were it just does not work.

Google Now and maps do work and you can see the GPS icon (with acquired signal) on top of the phone.

For what it's worth, I had lots of GPS problems with my Samsung Transform (Android 2.2.2), but have yet to have any problem with my S3. It seems GPS is hit-or-miss from one handset to the next.
