So checking out Waze at 2 AM here, it appears that a few people have left Waze running while sleeping, because their icons are stationary and buried within residential streets. I even just followed a user home by tracking her icon. This seems like quite a privacy/security issue that should be addressed, especially when users aren't really all that anonymous with custom icons and most people not using the "Anonymous" name.
I know we can just exit the app, but why should it be a manual operation when a) we already program our home address and b) the app can already calculate time to arrival to home? Simply pair this up with a checkbox setting "Disable within 1/2/3 minutes of home" and the problem is solved. Plus, when I leave for work in the morning I wouldn't have to worry about starting the app up again.

Actually all it takes is leaving waze running for 5 min in the car when you've stopped for this to happen.
That gives the map enough time to update with your real location.
You don't need to have left it on if you've ended up with the update timing being just as you pull up.
I agree there should be more than a time delay.
