Waze avatar problem

For some reason, my Waze avatar goes back to the default avatar at every reboot.

So for example, if I choose the ninja female to be my avatar, when I close and restart Waze at my next drive, the avatar goes back to the default avatar (silver, gold,...)

I don't remember in which version this all started, but I'm now testing the latest beta so...

It would be nice if the avatar stays the same, even after a reboot.

This has always been the case if you are one of the top 3 positions (Gold, Silver, Bronze). It is by design since you have earned that special position of the top 3 in your region.
