I know that the client keeps track of my speed, since it pops up a question when it thinks I've been going slower than expected. So why does it insist on warning me of "Heavy traffic ahead" when I am currently crawling along at, say, 30 km/h or less? At that point, I already know!! I suggest suppressing these warnings when the current speed is already low.

Maybe it's trying to make you feel good, letting you know you could be doing 10 kmh

Some of the notification logic could definitely do with improvement over time, I have to agree.
