9/25/11 Papyrus bugs update
Hi everyone,
Just wanted to update everyone about some issues we're currently working on:
Sync issues - World and US:
* In some cases, you still see segments that can't be edited (these are the same segments that can't be selected on the old cartouche)
* These happen due to issues with the sync triggeres - i.e. the image isn't synced with the DB even though some changes were done, and the tile you see is outdated.
* To fix this issue: some triggers have been fixed on the World server (And soon be uploaded to the US server).
Generic error messages:
* When the Papyrus fails on a save, it doesn't display the proper error message (based on the reason to why it failed), rather a generic error message.
* This requires a fix to the website, which will hopefully be uploaded soon.
Permissions based on drives:
* Some users might experience problems editing near roads where they have driven - even after these roads have been uploaded to the system and appear on their archive.
Segments with no nodes:
* Some bug in the old cartouche is causing segments to point to nodes (in the DB) that no longer exist. This in turn creates a segment which can't be edited in the Papyrus, and results in the generic error message.
Thanks,
Ori
