Can't delete road even when AM for area?

Workaround for me:

complete disconnect the segment from other segments
save
delete the segment

Hopefully your aren't actually sending email and are instead using the support form. They were supposed to start ignoring/auto-replying to email a good while ago.

This is an ongoing problem.

I have two such issues - one going on for about 2 months. Support ignore the form. I tries the tweet and got some response but nothing changed.

There are several in my area also. Waze support said it was some type of issue related to tiles. Seems that they can't get rid of them easily Do they show in the application? If not, just ignore and move on.,.

Based on what you are saying, it seems that the road in question is 'corrupt' and can't be removed from the editor. As I mentioned earlier in this thread, I have a few in the area that I manage. I can't remove them, Waze stated that it's a problem, but Waze has not removed them either.

So you need to convince Waze support to get them removed from the back end. They may or may not do so.

The roads are selectable in the waze editor. I need to add a road on the same spot as this ghost road but the wrong handles get selected etc etc. You try creating a new road on top of an existing road.

In summary, I can't be directed to a certain location using waze without this bug being fixed.

Its been like that for for over 2 months maybe much longer, I suspect it won't fix its self?
