Hi there I live in London ''UK'' and drive a lot throughout the uk aswell. When ever I'm on the road I'm always on the hunt for fuel stations either driving or being a passenger and sometimes I can't find any fuel stations in certain areas and have to travel for miles to find one. When are you going to introduce this poi in waze? Also there is a congestion zone in the center of london which means if you enter it you pay £10 or around $15. I would like to avoid entering the zone and get me re-routed around the zone instead of going through it and having to pay the charge. These functions are already on other sat navs which have proven to be very useful and important to users, so I'm wondering when are you going to implement these in waze? Thanks.

Fuel POIs should be here sometime this year. I wouldn't bank on the congestion zone coming any time soon though.

Concerning congestion zones, I'd suggest searching the forums for the discussions about toll roads, since they're basically the same thing AFAICT (except that it's more than a single road).

I am noting all the gas/petrol stations along the freeways in my Area..... as Landmarks, labeled. Hopefully will help those just passing through.

@Panda47
Good idea, I'm sure the waze team in time will get all the important bases covered.

Just to let you know that as waze hasn't got POIs for fuel stations yet, there is an alternative method to get to your nearest fuel station. All you need to do is after pressing navigate type in shell or esso station etc and it will find nearest fuel station.

Yes, once toll roads are introduced we will be able to set every road within the zone to have a toll.

Not sure how well that will work as a congestion zone is conceptually a 1-way charge whereas a toll road applies to segments rather than directions!

I assume the purpose of toll roads in Waze is so people can set the client to avoid them. If there is 1 toll road or 200 in an area it should avoid them regardless if set. Maybe I've not understood what you are saying but I can't foresee an issue specific to the congestion zone.
