Next update on NA tiles?

Routing was 100% perfect this morning.

Yes, it was! Very smooth, no missing names on turns. I'm glad to see all of my map edits (all measly 6K of them) pay off, finally! My little area of the waze world is starting to look and act like one would expect from a first-class navigation tool.

My job involved reporting in (at ~3:30am), getting a vehicle & going to a different place every day. I'm usually on the road at 4am ET and my trip can be anywhere from 15 minutes to 1 1/2 hours. In past updates, once the routing issues start due to the update, they usually continue for the rest of my trip, but everything is usually back to normal for my return trip to the office (anywhere between 9 & 10 am). Today I was on the road between 4 & 5am, and again between 8am & 8:30 and had no routing problems at all either direction (it wasn't my typical morning).

Andy, we picked 4am as that is the time we have the fewest wazers online - sorry for having to "suffer" all the issues. Seamless update means that there will be no service interruptions in the routing while we update the tiles so soon you should not notice issues anymore.

Does this mean WME (NA Server) is on the new infrastructure? I don't remember it going down for a day to make that change. Also, what does "seemless map updates" mean? Live editing?
Anyway, thanks for keeping us updated, the new infrastructure & of course, creating Waze...

WME is still running on the old infrastructure. We will probably switch it to the new tiles next week or a week after that. We'll keep you updated as we set the date.

Your hard work is what makes Waze so special. Thanks!

AndyPoms is likely in EDT. You said the update occurred at 4 (am?) in the EST time zone, or 5am EDT.

I'm starting to understand that the tile updates don't necessarily correlate to the Live Map on the website, something that was confusing to me before.

Is there any word on when the website's Live Map is going to get an update? I'm still seeing 6/14 as the update date, and obviously a lot has changed since then.

I think it's been outright stated multiple times in this thread that the livemap is not updating and there is no word from Waze on when/if it will update again.

Any word from Waze what the status is of the system? Nothing new on the status page for a while, nothing much posted here or in another forum thread that I can find. Are they communicating with the Champs and leaving the chumps out of it?

MAP TILES DELAY - INTL SERVER

The map tiles in the INTL server has been delayed due to some technical difficulties.

the map update is now scheduled for Wednesday morning GMT (August 29).

Any update?

Map editing is slow for me and I am getting areas that do not show roads... maybe they are updating the tiles?

I thought tile updating only affected the client, but not the map editor. Is that not true?
