diff between web & phone map

Postby Herve-rv » Thu Aug 02, 2012 6:27 am

Hi,
I'm used to drive by a single way street named "Jean-Louis Girodet" in Nantes, France and waze shows the wrong way on my phone (galaxy SII, android).
So I logged on the live map on the web and there, surprise : this street is on the right way.
What can I do to correct this issue ?
(the consequence is that every morning, waze gives me a wrong way to go because, on the "phone" point of view, I drive on the wrong way in this street)

Use livemap carefully. I'm not sure about the world livemap, but on NA only the closest two zoom levels show the last map tile refresh (check date in lower left corner).

The phone map may be off by up to 1 week from livemap, as the phone caches tiles and only refreshes them if they are older than 1 week old, you have navigation take you through that tile, or you search for a destination in that tile.

Best place to check, is on the editor. The editor shows what the map will be like for sure in up to 2 map cycles. depending on when the edit was done.
