I recently paved some roads because they were missing and then went through and updated them on the map editor. My edits are showing up but my paved roads are still there. Why is the paving still there and how can I make it go away? See attached.

They will go out sooner or later.

Ok. I was hoping they would have disappeared after this last update. :/

We've seen them hang around for months and seemingly were never going to go away. I think at least one person was only able to get them to purge was to delete the app and reinstall.

Ok, that's cool. I didn't realize it might be tied to the app. Deleting...

And once you reinstall, pledge to never use the pave feature again..."My Drives" works much better and won't leave anything on your phone.

Great idea. I just reloaded and the paved roads are gone. No more paving or me.

I like paving and find it a lot easier. While "my drives" hardly ever works for me. Takes forever for my routes to show up, and managing a 50-100 km route is just more of a bother then looking at my slip of paper and find the city and look for the clear red road and fix it.

Do the paved roads disappear from your client in a timely manner? I just don't want to keep them there forever, or continue to have to remove and reinstall the client on my iPhone.

Denmark doesn't have a basemap, does it? You're going to be adding a lot more roads than the users in basemapped countries. I've never had to add segments longer than ~4km with paving or my drives before, so my only experience has been with short segments, mostly new residential streets. And I found that paving a single road in a new housing development almost always resulted in multiple 5m segments I would have to join together or delete. Segments in my drives were easier to work with.
