Directions take me to wrong side of the street

Postby thejacobtaylor » Thu Mar 22, 2012 6:07 am

Hit Navigate
search for "Los Altos Library"
It is located on the east side of the street, basically where it is placed on the map. If you are coming up S San Antonio, the directions take you looping through downtown so that you can approach from the side of the street opposite the library. The location should be moved to the east side of the street. I cannot figure out how to edit this on the map. I think it is due to the street being listed as two separate one way roads, rather than one single road. It thinks the library is on the east side of the southbound road, rather than the east side of the northbound road.

I added the address information into the details of the library, FWIW.

Thanks!

Search results are returned by providers other than Waze. You will need to check/fix the location of the "business" Pin location in both Google and Bing. Or foursquare or yelp if that was the provider used.

Another option is just to choose another provider's results next time. eg. if you used Bing results, try Google, Yelp, or FourSquare results next time. These are external providers to Waze. Each could have different info.

In any case, if the only issue is the side of the street - that is a minor issue... being routed 2 miles out of the way is more significant.
