Area Managers - Oldest Update Request?

People who want AM solely to expand their editable area so they can crank up their editing points shouldn't be allowed to be AM, in my opinion.

All updates help I guess. Maybe points should be higher for URs to encourage people to do more of them. Resolving URs doesn't seem to earn points as fast as other activities.

Agree'd, As long as they are making fixes to the roads, who cares if it's for points or because they want to have perfect routing in their state, either way the end goal of improving the roads is reached. I quickly cleaned up my original AM request area and have asked for additional areas twice now, so I can improve the roads. I also liked the idea of getting Waze royalty status in my state, so am I wrong for that?

As to UR's they help me find areas to correct. And I've been going through the old list in Cartouche clearing out those old requests. Many appear to have been fixed with no acknowledgement. Others are still unfixed months after they were reported.

Okay, this is the oldest I've yet found. Someone tried to respond but left it open. I closed it, as the described problem was more likely an issue with the user's app. But I did thank them for the report.

Today i got a larger area and found this:

LOL... I think I can report the youngest resolved request...

I worked on my request list and found only 1 new one today. After I finished the UR, I refreshed the list to make sure I closed it, and a new one popped up with a clear description. I was able to solve and close it within 10 minutes from posting .

I have seen an increase as well, that's why I wrote 'only' 1 new.

I think the majority are in non-managed areas. I will see thonight if I can find large conentrations...

We have new screens! There are still 4 of them, but they are HD widescreens now...

I never tried what happens to either editor when I stretch a browser window across all 4 screens....

FYI, there are 600 open URs in Netherlands. 356 in the UK.

Well... I checked the sheet. The 600 entries are the separate feed for Dutch cities, this does not mean there are 600 UR's...

But:
When I finally managed to combine al those feeds, I found about 770 URs... Luckily 80% is less than 6 weeks old and most of the older ones are construction zones where the AM left a message to other editors why things are edited the way they are.

When I finish my current project, I will start to clean up this list.

Lucky you. Update Requests have been getting entered rapidly and in higher quantities the last couple of weeks.
