I have a vague recollection of a thread that explains how to get this to install in chrome after Google changed its extension policy, but I can't find it. Can I continue to use this in Chrome?

I'm missing something as that is what I have been trying. When I drag the file to into the window the entire script is shown, but I haven't figured out how to get it to install.

jasonh300 wrote:I think I have it. Is Chrome appending a (1) into the filename because you already have a file by the same name in the directory you're downloading to? If so, that will prevent it from installing. You have to rename the file.
At the work computer now, so can't try it. But yes, I'm almost sure that there is a (1) or maybe a (4) by now on the file. This would also explain why I didn't have a problem when the change was originally made. Thanks much for your insight.

This was promised by Dror in Paris, so I hope he puts a sticky somewhere soon.

Found this handy for spotting naming inconsistencies already!
