Perhaps "The Family" is mainly interested in using Waze to find the fastest route out of town, and would rather keep a low profile. Just sayin'... ;)

I'd love to find a news article about that instance Noam mentioned.

But really, how does adding all parking lot lanes help with quick getaways?

No one will suspect to look for them cruising up and down the parking lot? Or hanging out in the fast food joynts?

Level 4 editors can disconnect roads just about anywhere; e.g., to divert Wazers from the escape route and onto the roads most likely to be used by first responders?

That's how they know when to "hit". Watch the forums: the one who asks most often about when the next map update will happen is probably the ringleader...

Now that the editor is back up, I have finally seen with mine own eyes. And, based on previous experience is about what I expected.

The good news is that I have found exactly where we can trap them:

In a perfect world, mapping to this level wouldn't be an issue, but since p-lot segments don't behave as one would wish them to, and our GPS receivers aren't accurate enough, this is just a waste of talent and time that could be spent working on real roads.

I'd never think this level of detail would ever be necessary for any reason. Well, except perhaps for parking space availability systems...
