We had hoped these would disappear and Waze Map Editor would no longer show closed URs. It appears this may not be the case.

I wrote the wiki page with my best understanding at the time. As gettingthere wrote, this is in flux as we are not told proactively or sometimes very clearly, what is going on behind the scenes.
I apologize for inaccurate information or "advice" found in the wiki. It is a community resource and I expect that the community will continue to help shape it.

Looks better. I think the page should have some guideance for communicating with the submitter. It's the process as we know it now...

Oh, you did that, too. I'd loaded the page, but it must have pulled the cached version. I see your changes now. Thanks!

What I've been doing in the cases of the UR already having be worked and closed in Cartouche_old, is to mark the UR "not a problem" in WME and save it. BTW URs in Waze Map Editor won't disappear from your view until you refresh (F5) or click permalink.

palmerit wrote:I hope what you mean is, closed UR's will appear closed in both, and open/new UR's will appear as open in both. Otherwise, new UR's won't appear in the old editor, making it impossible for AM's to respond/interact with the user submitting the report.
This issue was brought up, and until we get the new communication system the workaround is to PM the user through the forums. Unfortunately that leaves no way to leave notes on the UR for other editors to know it is being worked.

I've been pretty good about fixing and closing UR's in my area as I slowly clean things up. With the new update today, I'm seeing UR's that I already resolved.
Here's one that I resolved yesterday that reappeared:
And here's the Cartouche_old that shows it was already resolved:
Thumbs up to Waze for showing us the directions vs actual route, that will really help track down the issue. Thumbs down for not giving us a message box to discuss the issue with the user (I'll still be resolving UR's from the old interface for now).
