this ability to edit the map is both a boon and a bane. accuracy and consistency are both compromised. kaya pala hindi makakita ng route kasi yung mga kalsada, although it looks ok sa phone, sa map editor pala eh putol-putol and yung junction does not allow entry to the next segment. ibig sabihin, hindi pinagaralan nung nag-draw ng map kung pano ang tamang paggawa ng mga kalye. Kaya for routing, highly unreliable ang waze. For traffic updates, konti pa ang users dito sa atin to get complete traffic situations for your way to work or home or wherever.
i hope the developers can integrate Garmin or Open Street Maps.
For example, ommission of 'Street' or 'St.' from street name, unless hindi sya street like 'Road', 'Lane', 'Drive', etc. Another siguro is yung to use or not use shortened names like 'Ave.' for 'Avenue', 'Blvd.' for 'Boulevard', 'Hwy' for 'Highway', etc. This would be for easy searching of street names and accurate routing. may nabasa ako na waze treats roads with different names as different roads like 'Marcos Highway' is different from 'Marcos Hwy' and therefore may use a different route. Nakikita ko ito sa C5 when waze routes me to take Kalayaan Ave. instead of going straight to Market-Market because the roads are differently named. Another would be road types, which ones are major or minor highways, primary streets, etc.
