Sent 10 log files this morning. Waze has repeatedly had issues related to Music playback. As I've mentioned before, when multiple voice prompts are needed close together, Waze eventually stops the playback completely and at the same time, never gives another voice prompt. This is easily repeatable and it's happened 5-6 times the last few days I've used Waze. Hopefully what is in the debug logs will be helpful.

I will have to try that. Hoping this works with being able to get turn instructions from the speak and voice commands through a headset.perlin wrote:There is an option to give voice commands over a bluetooth headset. I believe this doesn't happen now. Perhaps it just didn't turn off right away, but I will double-check.Can't reproduce. Does it happen to you every time? Can you give a specific scenario?Bug: Even with voice commands turned OFF, the proximity sensor is still active and blanks the screen when your hand gets close.

One step at a time. They need to get out the next Android beta first.thenbagis wrote:Awesome! Any time table for the update? (i.e. will it be a maintenance/bug fix release... maybe 3.1.1. or will it be more of a feature update 3.2)perlin wrote: thenbagis, you are correct.
The audio problems will be fixed for next version.

They are working on more metrics and information about you. Perhaps later this year more will be available.

Delete the favorite first. Then go to the map and tap/hold on the location you want to set. Name it Work or Home as appropriate. Done.bikezilla64 wrote:It would be nice to be able to set a map point as a default favorite like "Home" or "Work".

I've often thought that iOS was keeping track of the last volume setting by app, but I really have no clue if that's accurate.markwu wrote:So there may be three different volume settings?

When using the Sound, Navigation Guidance set to "Include street names" , the pronunciation of "Glisan" is said with a hard "I" sound (i.e. Gl-eye-son) instead of the hard "E" sound (i.e. Gl-ee-san).
Is there a way to use the map editor and the Alternate Street Name to correct pronunciation issues?
Thanks!

There is currently no way to correct pronunciation. There are a few threads out here about this subject. We want to be able to do this, but it's a matter of priorities at this point. That why I marked what I assume was your map issue report as "not a problem."

That's soooo cool. You are very talented. I've not seen this before.fvwazing wrote:I haven't seen mention of this - but do not ask me how I did it. Suddenly my menubutton was gone with the wind....
Did you try to tap the location to see if the button graphic was just not being drawn correctly but the menu still worked? Maybe did you hack the app and remove any graphic files?
