GPS tracks not updating?

Hi, sorry if this has been mentioned or dealt with before, I did search for GPS but the term is too short.

I see that my GPS tracks haven't been updated or they do not show on the map editor. I drove through all the new roads in my estate last week to have something to work with on the editor so I could create the new roads, but I don't see any tracks. in fact, there does seem to be an awful absence of tracks in my estate considering i've been driving thorugh this area for the past 3 months.

is there anything wrong?

You should be able to see where you have driven in the map editor. On the left hand panel, My Places, Drives.

That should update within the day I believe.

The GPS layer in the editor, that is only updated every now and then so you could be waiting a looong time to see anything there. Although they are working to make this better.

The drives with the application Waze opened but without navigation not appear in this section but only in the dashboard... this kind if drives are valid for waze points or for the sum of miles drives?

All miles count. Navigation mode doesn't make any difference in points calculated.

I found that section today called my places and it was easy to find the roads I travelled on. Great tool !!!

I'm sorry, guys, but actually NO ONE answeed the OP's question

Yes, there is still anything wrong with the GPS layer. Although Ori claimed more than two weeks ago, that "The GPS layer is now updating on a regular basis on both INTL and NA map editors" and "The layer is updating every few days (usually cycles of 1 week or less)", this is simply still not true and I still see just the same few ancient GPS tracks in the areas I'm moving around...

Do you remember the loads of such questions since sometimes arount the Fall/Winter 2011? (or was it actually since the Papyrus being introduced?)

I suspect that unless we will get an automated Status page, no Waze core member will admit that the GPS tracks are still not coming in
