You should be able to find out everything you need
here. Alternatively, you can post a permalink of the problem or submit an update request while driving your route.

Hello Valerie, thanks for the reply but your suggestion does not help. I have been there and still don't see how to make waze correct its directions. The road map from all appearance appears accurate but yet Waze does not use the road. The directions are wrong. Thanks.

You have to give us more to go on. We are just other waze users that have experience with map issues, and issues that might effect routing outside of the map.
You have to give us examples of what is happening and what you expect. Permalink is the best, as then we don't have to go hunting for the area you are having an issue with.
Waze is a community mapping project. It is free to us, because Waze didn't pay big bucks to another mapping company for the base maps. Therefore their could be issues that need resolving to get some good routes. That responsibility falls on the community to fix.

What your looking for are turn restrictions or red arrows along the route, improper one way streets, or nodes for intersections not connected. It might be possible that someone has also been in that area editing and it just hasn't been updated yet. There is suppose to be a map update in the next few days.

Thanks for the replies. It is as described. When I leave for work the directions are correct. When I request "Home" the directions are wrong. It takes me to a different location. I have confirmed the arrows. I will reconfirm arrows.
I don't know what you mean Permalink. I will go look for this Permalink.
Thanks

The permalink is at the bottom right corner of the editing screen. It is a simple link that will direct us to the exact location. Just put the entire route on the screen/ click permalink/ then copy and paste the addy in the address bar on here.
Have you looked into the alt. routes when you choose home. there could be several options and it's just choosing the quickest at the time. Also make sure you have "Learn my preferred routes on" It will help in the long run.
