I know there's much discussion on whether to split and/or unsplit, so before I go and spend the time, I thought I'd poke a few folks for input. N & S Main, & Broad are split, and from following all the threads on this topic, I'm thinking its best to unsplit. Thoughts?

Gah! I hate those islanded roads. Such a waste of taxpayer dollars. It looks like there is an opening at every possible crossing, so I would vote unsplit.

I would unsplit too.
South of that permalink is even better reason.

I'm surprised that Main was ever split to begin with, hard pressed to find any GPS track separation even at 10m/2ft zoom level.

That split is from the original basemap. The basemaps had any road with a median split.
Another way you can tell is the basemaps across the southern US have all the median segments as either Service Road or Private Road.

The other tell-tale sign is the Separating Line is set.

True, and that becomes evident when you change the road type to Primary Road.
