Waze says:
"The new ETA is Thursday, February 23rd for both servers."

Not ideal, but at least they're keeping us updated.

Waze also says:
"However, we still estimate that it will take 3 weeks approximately between one tile generation to the next one."

Not such good news, but at least we have a schedule now.

Deliberately posting in this forum and thread - has anyone else seen changes dating back to 2 Jan not being propagated into mobile maps? I've had a few URs which (as far as I can work out) can only be explained by this.

Yes. I've found changes from 5 Jan which have not been propagated to either the live map or the client map.

I had a lot of 'recalculating route' craziness this morning, usually it's a sign of a tile update in progress.

I've analysed the dates from this thread so far, and based on the last 4 updates we're currently looking at 5 and a half days between updates, and they take about 5 days to reach the Livemap. In other words, it takes between 6 and 11 days for any edit to reach the map.

So, I predict that we'll see the next update on Thursday for map edits up to Jan 7th.

(Caveat: assuming no hiccups in their processes)

Actually, I'm going to refine my estimate. I think we'll see a new map tomorrow, dated Jan 8th.

Based on recent data, the next map update process is started on the same day that the previous one hits the LiveMap, and takes about 5 days to run. Therefore, edits made between Jan 8th and 13th should hopefully be visible around Jan 18th.

It could be that the date on the livemap is wrong. The last update appeared on Jan 8th, and the update process usually starts on the same day.

Waze says next update will be done in a few days and will be for Jan 30th.
