Android Play Store Version 3.0.2.8 Feedback thread

Map doesn't update completely when I browse around, zooming in and out, not matter how long I wait for the update. I'm on a fast wifi network, and I use a Nexus S with Android ICS.

I lost all my favorites! when I've installed this new version, at te first start after i've inserted the username and password, the application crash and when I reopen it all my favorites was deleted... I tried to uninstall (with folder elimination) and reinstall but it has the same behavior....

I had the opposite problem - in addition to all of my existing favourites, the update process also managed to undelete most (if not all - I can't recall if any were still missing) of the ones I'd deleted in previous versions of the client.

Also noticed 3.0.2.8 seems a bit flakey on gaining a GPS connection - maybe 25-30% of the times I start up the client, it'll sit there with the GPS icon flashing away in the status bar and no matter how long I wait it never seems to get a lock, yet exiting and restarting then results in an immediate lock. Don't recall this being a problem in previous versions.

There is another old problem with favorites - after install any new version of waze - favorites downoads from my waze account. But if it on Cyryllic - it getting mangled - each cyryllic letter turn to two sign, an it get unreadable. Its seams like utf8 to ascii translation.

I don't know if it was just a bad instance of this run (probably was but I thought I would note it anyway) because I have never seen it behave this way before... Night mode driving at ~45 mph the zoom level was too tight. It was in the level where waze would be directing you to turn. If I slowed down to ~40 the zoom would be normal for that speed. It was on a road I normally drive on and usually the zoom is correct. I am going to see if it replicatess tonight and will report back and send logs if it happens again.

And it was a bad instance of that run. The last two nights zoom level was where it should be.

I have noticed that GPS lock is still slow. In previous versions lock was obtained by the time the map started to load (durring splash screen). Now it locks 30 seconds to several minutes after. Other applications have an instant lock and my perfs file is set up to obtain an almost instant lock. (as well as network)

Also I don't know if this is an issue with the client or how Waze runs generally, but there is a road I park on weekends, it is ~500 feet. I never can seem to get the cookies eaten off of it.

I find a bug on beta 3.1.99.105: the guidance in Spanish is mixed. The voice speaks part in Spanish and part in English

Speed cams are not shown on map. The corresponding option in "Show on Map" is checked.

i don't know why waze and fb don't talk eachother.
they're linked...i'm connected..but no friends on waze.. e no updates on fb...
may be something wrong with my settings??
