Hi guys,

Please share here your feedback on the latest beta.

What's new?
* Find by Category - Search by category was added as an option on the ‘drive to’ screen.
Entering a category when not in navigation mode will display a list of related locations in a radius around you. When in navigation mode, the results will display locations around/near your route. Actual number of miles and time to destination will be provided for each of the search results (as opposed to aerial miles). Results can be viewed in list and map view.

* Cheap gas on route - Gas stations and prices are accessible in categories.
The list (and map) will display stations on your route, when you’re in navigation mode, and around you, when not in navigation. In all other aspects, the functionality of the gas station category is similar to others, with the following additions:

Gas Prices:

• Daily updated gas prices are displayed for every station
• Prices are color-coded; green indicating cheap, red indicating high. The color-­coding is relative to the specific search results.
• Gas prices can be updated by users using a newly added button to the ‘Report’ screen!
• Points are earned for every price update! To maintain accuracy, prices can be updated only while at the location itself.

***The new gas feature is currently available only on US and IL servers***

What is fixed?
1. Widget
2. Nearby wazer feature
3. Switching between female/male when activating TTS
4. Brazil crash (waze crashed when opened for the second time and on. This happened only in Brazil)

Known issues:
1. Crash when entering the Privacy menu (in My Profile)
2. Impossible to open location/destination that is shared with you (browser consider it as malware)
3. Galaxy Nexus fails to send logs
4. Known issues for gas prices feature (relevant only for US and IL users) :

• Updating gas prices will crash after 3 sec viewing the update screen
• Gas category map view will crash sometimes

Installed on my Galaxy Nexus, stock ICS 4.0.2. Crashes immediately after the splash screen. I tried several times, no joy.

Edit: Reinstalled previous beta, cleared data, then restarted. Then installed the new .111 beta and it is now working. More testing ahead...

On my Samsung Galaxy S I9003 Gingerbread 2.3.5, INT. server, no gas station can be found nearby. Other categories works fine (tried hospital, car wash...).
Map display issue is still present, TTS in italian still reads english text.

Caused my phone to reboot after the splash screen came up. After the reboot, same thing.

You guys probably should take this down and go back to the drawing board.

Edit: Will try clearing data as the person up above suggested.

Edit 2: Rebooted my phone still after clearing data, uninstalling and re-installing.

I have a Droid X, running VXR Rom (Gingerbread 2.3.3 based ROM).

Going back to the last beta.

I am not seeing the widget come up on the add widget tab on my phone. How can I add it to my screen.

Installed on my HTC Thunderbolt running 2.3.4

Installed on Droid 3, loaded fine but no gas prices(assume not been updated by users yet). Will test more on drive home.

Waze suggested me a crazy 300kms route VS a normal 100km route.
Navigation options:
Type: Fastest.
Dirt roads: don't allow

Minimize turns: unchecked
Avoid highways: unchecked

avoid toll roads: Checked (Without this the fastest route is calculated correctly)

Prefer goodie munching: unchecked
(I noticed that if I change the language from italian to english "Prefere goodie munching" is toggled to unchecked to checked automatically. When I went back from english to italian it stood the way it was, unchecked).

I actually had to uninstall, then reboot (I wiped the caches for good measure during the reboot), then reinstall to get it to a point where the new version didn't reboot my phone.

Installed with only 1 minor issue: widget did not work correctly until I started the app for the first time. Haven't tried categories yet as I'm inside with poor network reception.

OK, I just went to run an errand. On the way there, it worked fine. Came back to my office, hit exit, and the phone froze, then rebooted itself after a couple of minutes.

Galaxy nexus 4.0.2 unrooted.
