Motorola Milestone 2 Android 2.3.4 - After several days of trouble-free operation "Failed to initialize. No network connection" - does not matter if WiFi or 3G. Reboot does not help. Only way to is uninstall Waze, delete Waze directory on SD card, reinstall Waze. But error is returned in a few days again and again and again.... Of course, other services dependent on the Internet working properly (email, browser, WhatsApp, Skype, GoogleMaps,....)

Have seen strange issues with my Asus EEE Pad Transformer TF101:

Waze does not record tracks if the pad is not connected to the internet although it shows the correct position even when driving. I would at least expect it to track it offline and transfer it back to the server whenevver connection is established.

Second one is that if the Pad looses internet connection and reestablishes it, waze does not recognize that as an open internet connection, even you can surf through the net or receive and send mails with the pad.

Today similar issue:
Started in the morning, Waze tracked and uploaded the first 5 km, then stopped tracking and tracked again only last 5 km of my trip. the 20km Highway in between was not tracked.

I hoped to be able to use waze as a tracker to easily write my driving book for my company, but if mileage is missing it is not usable for that.

BTW ... it seems that this is related only to the Android version. The version on my iPhone seems to work fine although it is less accurate ... (issue of the used GPS receiver I would suppose)

After I'd added a speed camera in my client, I waited for over a week for it to show in the update map. It didn't. Also, when I hit "Send" when reporting a camera, nothing happens, nothing like when reporting a, say, road hazard (the little "wazes" running in a circle while the report is being sent).

Speed cameras, unlike other hazards, have to be confirmed in the map editor online.

I'm driving daily through area with no network (data roaming turned off) and when I get network coverage again, waze is still showing searching network. I've checked log file and looks like this part is related:

Hi,
like you can see the traffic indicator doesn't follow the road that well.
I have had it on multiple points in ver 3.0.2.8.



Anyone else having the same problem?

another problem i have is that when receiving a call.
The voice directions keep on playing what is really annoying when it is business and you try to understand people.

Isn't it possible to turn them of when having a call and return back to Waze when having the call.
And have a button to end the call in waze.

I use my car Bluetooth to receive calls so i would love to this all with to touches on my screen.
answering and hanging up.
