unlock road - Sugar Land, TX

How are users to update maps when the roads are locked? I know how to fix this problem, but the road is locked keeping me from correcting this problem.

What is the solution? Only have power users make all the updates!?

It's an issue with Waze's map editor security model. Concern with this security model has been expressed many times. It is what it is at this time. Be careful what you wish for, Waze may make it worse....

If you become an area manager you can override the locks. Another option is to work really hard to accumulate enough edits to equal or outrank the Wazer(s) who are locking the roads.

Yes, you unlocked one of the roads, but not the correct one. When a turn needs to be validated, the road being turned on must be unlocked. Please try again.

As gettingthere said, be careful what you do. Don't forget to lock the segment back.

Still missing a road to unlock at this address. There still is an intersection to validate the turns for.
